BUT NEVER MIND THAT look how cute his new place is. it's all bright thanks to the privacy enchanted glass which allows light in while blocking outsiders from sneaking glances. pricy, but worth the time he spent finding someone to cast that spell. the inside is made up of mostly second hand furniture, a comfortable broken in couch and chair, a table with a few books he hasn't put away on the shelves behind his desk and, of course, a bowl of sweets.
Maruki himself is still dressed in sweatpants and a t-shirt, slightly sweaty and dusty from moving things around. one downside of all this glass making things bright is that it also makes things pretty warm. maybe he should invest in some air conditioning... )
There's some chocolates in the bowl. Help yourself.
